Abstract

The distribution of Hoplolaimus indicus, Helicotylenchus spp. (Helicotylenchus indicus was the most commonly occurring species, followed by H. erythrinae and H. crenacauda and rarely H. retusus), Tylenchorhynchus goldeni, Pratylenchus spp. (P. pratensis and P. indicus), Meloidogyne incognita, Hemicriconemoides spp. and Trichodorus mirzai, is reported from sugarcane soils in western Uttar Pradesh, India.
