Abstract

Brown spot of rice caused by D. oryzae [Cochliobolus miyabeanus] was identified in Assam, India. The susceptiblity of 10 rice cultivars was investigated. Cultivar Bora 15 was free from grain discoloration and cultivars Bhogali and Rongili were tolerant of the disease.
