Abstract

The spontaneous reversion of afluidal stains of P. solanacearum to the wild type fluidal state in 2 race 1 isolates (CSG 39 and CSG 40) was demonstrated. CSG 39 and CSG 40 were isolated from wilted potatoes from the NW mid-hills of India and their respective unstable afluidal variants (CSG 39A and CSG 40A) were isolated from stored water cultures.
