Abstract

Groundnut rust epidemics were analysed using the logistic and Gompertz transformation to linearize the data on disease progress curves obtained during a period of five years. The logistic transformations did not always provide good linearization, whereas the Gompertz transformation fitted a multiple regression model and gave the best linearized experimental data.
