Five new species of Tilletia and one species of Urocystis have been described viz., T.arthraxonae sp.nov. on Arthraxon lanceolatus (Roxb.) Hochst., T. isachnae sp.nov. on Isachne /isboe Hk.f., T.sehimae sp.nov. on Sehima nervosus (Roth.) Stapf, T. spodiopogonae sp.nov. on Spodiopogon rhizophorus (Steud.) Pilger, T. tripogonis sp. novo on Tripog.9n /isboe Stapf. and Urocystis curcu/igoides sp. novo on Curcu/igo orchioides Gaertn. A key to these taxa 'is also proposed.
