Abstract

In 1986-87, healthy groundnut plants of varying age, were spray inoculated with Rhizoctonia solani and the disease intensity was measured 10 d after the appearance of the first symptoms. The effect of temperature and RH was also investigated. Plants of 20- to 50-d-old were susceptible to infection and 26-28deg C and 98-100% RH promoted max. disease development.
