Abstract

Synthesis of zearalenone (ZEA), vomitoxin and T-2 mycotoxins by isolates of Fusarium spp. were studied under varied environmental conditions. Variables included temp., grain moisture and incubation period. Production of these toxins was max. after 6weeks of incubation at 25degC when grain moisture was 50%. Increases in moisture content and incubation period positively influenced toxin production.
