Data on body weight and body measurements were collected from 30 Nicobari Black adult birds which were maintained in Livestock Farm Complex, TANUVAS, Chennai-600 051. The correlation between body weight (Kg), body length (cm), chest girth (cm), tibio tarsus length (cm) and tibio tarsus circumference (cm) was positive and strongly correlated in most cases. Body measurements succeed to describe more variation in live weight. Since there is high correlation coefficient between body weight and other body measurements, these variables or combination could provide a good estimate for predicting live weight. The adjusted R square value of 0.864 indicates that 86.4 per cent of the variation in body weight is explained by body length, chest girth and tibio tarsus circumference.
