Abstract

Five puerperal Jersey crossbred cows were brought with the history of teat injury and leakage of milk through the injury site. Physical examination confirmed fistulation and leaky teat in all the cases. A three-layer closure was performed using No. 3-0 polyglycolic acid. Cows recovered uneventfully following reconstruction.
