Abstract

in conducting soil survey the objective is to classify soils according to their characteristics into units of a uniform system of classification with uniform nomenclature and to show their distribution on maps. it will subsequently help to define the adaptability of soils for crops grasses and trees, their management requirements for suustained production and the expected yield of individual crops under different systems of use land management.
