Abstract
The paper deals with the study of geomorphic units and the types of soils developed thereon and the conservation measures required to keep the agricultural land productive for the years to come without decreasing the present production This was done on the basis' of a comparative study of aerial photographs, topographical sheets and the available satellite imageries of the area with sufficient ground checks during field surveys.
