Abstract

Results of a case study have been used to draw attention to the urgent needs to tackle the ravouous areas on the basis of economic viability. In the process steps to boost the reclamation and management of such areas. have been found. These include afforestation an cultivation with support of soil and water conservation as part of integrated technology package.
