Soil survey of the selected catchments and district in the state of Arunachal has M•t carried out by the Soil survey organisation of the Rural works department. The paper gives the salient features of the survey area, kind of survey carried out and arca covered. Land capability class have been tirade at sub class level. Managonott needs of the survey area have been broadly discribed in the paper.
