167 / 92
Abstract
A field experiment on precision farming was conducted to increase the efficiency of fertilizer use and economics of potato tuber production. Precision fertilization (PF) increased the fertilizer use efficiency by 109% over recommended fertilization (RF), without affecting the tuber yield significantly. PF reduced the mean fertilizer requirement by 50%, increased the net returns by 5% and benefit: cost ratio by 3.3% compared to RF.Downloads
