Potato growers had adopted a good number of recommended practices such as improved vanety, planting time, crop rotation, harvesting, storage by desi heap method, tillage, manuring, planting by plough, planting distance, earthing up, irrigation, Insect control, chemical fertihzer, seed rate and hand weeding Potato growers had made some modifications In potato cultiation technologies to get more production In local situation These modlflcahons were to plant then crop early or late, to get high pnces, keep own produce for seed purpose, disconhnuance of seed treatment and application of FYM at alternate year.Downloads
