Abstract

Proximate composition of ninenteen species of marine
gastropoda and one of marine amphineura have been studied.
Seasonal variations in proximate composition of the meat of
gastropod, Thais rugosa (Born), are reported. Majority of the
gastropod species have high protein and ash contents.
