Nano-technological advancements are embracing the field of agriculture pesticides, where its applications are in infancy. Conventional pesticide formulations suffer many problems making their applications less economical and more hazardous. The technological advancement pertaining to controlled release of pesticides is signified with advantages of prevention from degradation, volatilization and enhanced bio-application outcomes. Various degradable polymers have been explored for trapping the active ingredients to make formulation of nano sizes, proving multiple benefits of their usage. This review provides an insight into the various methods and materials explored at laboratory or commercial levels in the recent times to advocate the future research and use.Downloads
