Histoenzymatic study was conducted on bursa of Fabricius of twenty five Kadaknath birds from day old to thirty weeks of age. These birds were sacrificed ethically and Bursa of Fabricius were collected separately in thermos containing ice cubes. These samples carefully dissected and processed for routine histoenzymatic studies (alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase and adenosine tri phosphatase) and observations were recorded on different components of bursa of Fabricius in almost all the groups of Kadaknath birds. Tunica serosa, tunica muscularis, epithelium, interfollicular septae and epithelial reticular cells showed moderate to intense alkaline phosphatase as well as adenosine triphosphatase activity within groups whereas acid phosphatase activity was more in medulla of lymphoid follicles and weak activity was in tunica serosa in almost all the groups of Kadaknath birds.
