A total of fifty four Gaddi sheep fetuses were collected from the slaughter houses in and around Palampur region. The fetuses were divided into four groups based on their gestational age viz. Group-I (31-60 days), Group-II (61-90 days), Group-III (91-120 days) and Group-IV (121 days-till full term). A significant increase was measured in the length of the head, width of head, length of cranium, length of face, inter auricular distance, transverse distance between lateral & medial canthi and transverse distance between lateral commissures of nostrils among all the groups with the advancement of the gestational period.
