Micrometry of the Epididymis in Assam Goat (Capra hircus) Kids Following Oral Zinc Supplementation

Abstract

Male Assam goats of three months of age (3-4 kg body weight) were utilized in the present study. The
kids were divided into three groups according to the feeding regime as group I (control) in which animals
received no zinc supplementation, while animals of group II and III received inorganic form of zinc sulphate
@120mg/ kid/day and organic form of zinc propionate @ 40mg/kid/day, respectively along with concentrate
mixture. Tissue sections of caput, corpus and cauda of epididymis were used for micrometry.
