Abstract

The present study was conducted on left and right ovaries of 100 adult buffaloes during different seasons collected from slaughter house. The whole ovaries were cut, processed and paraffin sections were stained with different stains to know the histomorphochemical features of corpora lutea. The study revealed that the distribution of different histochemical moieties did not vary in different structures of ovary during seasons but the reaction was variable in ovarian tissue depending upon their physiological status.
