The phallus of emu was well developed and located on the floor of the cloaca attached to the proctodeal wall slightly to the left of the median line. The phallus consisted of a base and a free part with a blind tubular cavity. Ejaculatory groove region was a pinkish triangular area located on the floor of the proctodeum and continued as the spiral ejaculatory groove between the two fibro-lymphatic bodies and ended at the tip of the phallus.
