Abstract

The present study was conducted on 18 Gaddi sheep fetus lungs. The collected fetuses were then divided into three
groups based on their estimated ages viz.- Group-I (below 50 days), Group-II (between 50-100 days), Group-III (above 100 days
of age). There was a significant increase in weight of fetus from group I to group III. The length, width, height of both right and left
lungs showed a significant increase from group I to group III. There was a significant increase in dorso-ventral, cranio-caudal
length of apical lobe, cardiac lobe and diaphragmatic lobe of both right and left lungs from group-I to group-III.
