The study was conducted on the lungs of Gaddi goat. The right and left lungs were roughly triangular in profile, had an apex, costal, medial and diaphragmatic surfaces and dorsal, ventral and caudal borders. Each lung was divided by deep fissures into distinct lobes. The right lung had apical, cardiac, intermediate and diaphragmatic lobes, whereas; the left lung was divided into apical and diaphragmatic lobes. The mean length, width and height of right apical lobe was 7.07±0.37, 6.61±0.32 and 1.23±0.37 cms, respectively. The right intermediate lobe measured 5.98±0.29, 5.87±0.33 and 11.33±0.28 cms in length, width and height, respectively. The right diaphragmatic lobe measured 14.98±0.28, 8.54±0.20 and 11.72±0.27 cm in length, width and height, respectively. Right cardiac lobe was 8.46±0.38, 5.66±0.25 and 10.19 ± 0.41 cm in mean length, width and height, respectively. The left apical lobe measured 6.53±0.24, 8.37±0.22 and 12.03±0.30 cm in length, width and height, respectively. The left
diaphragmatic lobe measured 11.03±0.34, 9.15±0.22, and 9.65±0.40 cm in length, width and height, respectively. The mean weight of the lung was 711.00 ± 48.17 g.
