Abstract

The gross anatomical studies were conducted on a monster cow calf with hydrocephaly and defective body growth. The position of eyes was inverted in relation to body and all the limbs were under developed (hemimelia). On opening the cranial cavity it was found that brain was not there and in place of it some
degenerated clotted mass of tissue was present which indicated that it was the condition of hydranencephaly. The cranial and facial bones were not developed normally and showed many changes in their anatomy. The forelimbs and hind-limbs were normal only up to the level of humerus and femur, respectively.
