Abstract
India is a country known for its floristic wealth, and the rich biodiversity is distributed in 12 hotspots of the country. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands is one such important biodiversity hotspot and is a sanctuary of hundreds of little known or totally unknown wild plants. It is one of the great reserves of unexploited tropical floristic materials in India. The attention given to understand the ornamental wealth of the wild indigenous plants in the Island is almost negligible.Downloads
