The CERES-Wheat Model had successfully simulated phenological stages and yield of wheat varieties and it can be used as a systematic decision support system framework for predicting/forecasting the yield under variable weather conditions for strategic (selection of suitable varieties under different weather conditions), and tactical (sowing time, plant population, fertilizer application) decision making for crop management and improving the resource use efficiency.
