Responseof grape' Anab-e-Sbahi' (Vilis vinifera L.) to drip and basin method of irrigation was studied at 3 evaporation
replenishment rates of 50, 75 and 100%. Drip irrigation recorded markedly higher vine growth, bunch weight and yield
as
compared to basin inigation. The total water-use was reduced to nearly 32% under drip irrigation. Increasing the
evaporation rates of replenishment increased the vine growth, bunch number, bunch weight and yield but the differences
were not marked beyond 75% of evaporation replenishment for most of the parameters.
