The present studies revealed that reduced canopyvolume of Nagpur mandarin on trifoliate oranges and their
hybrids is an indication for their use for high density planting
as has been advocated in lemon [Citrus limon (L) Burm. f.],
sweet oranges [c. sinensis (L.) Pers.] and kinnow mandarin
C. reticulata Blanco (Bitters etal.l977, Castle 1983, Castle
et a1.1986).
