Abstract

A study was conducted during 2002 and 2003 to evaluate the influence of different organic and inorganic sources of nutrients on growth, yield, and effect on soil quality of 4-year-old aonla (Ei?iblica oJ?cirzalis L.) plantation at the Institute, Hyderabad. The growth, yield and quality of aonla were influenced by different sources of nutrients. Combination of organics and inorganic nutrients increased the fruit yield and quality. Application of vermicompost improved the fruit quality. The soil physical, biological and chemical properties were influenced by tree and sources of nutrients.
