Abstract

A field experiment was conducted at JARI, New Delhi during 2002-2004 in maize (Zea n1ays L.)-wheat (Triticum aestivum L. emend. Fiori & Paol) crop sequence. The treatments N120SSP30VAM and Nl20RP30PSB pro'ved its superiority in respect of grain yield, maize\wheat crop sequence resulted in better fertility build-up of soil organic C, soil available N and P.
