An experiment was conducted to evaluate the performance of aonla cultivars, viz 'Chakaiya', 'Narendra Aonla 6', 'Narendra Aonla 7', 'Narendra Aonla lo', 'Narendra Aonlal8 and Anand 1 ' against different sodicity levels. Data recorded on increase in plant height, stem diameter, plant spread, fresh and dry weights of roots and number of branchletslplant revealed that all the plant growth characters showed decreasing trend with increase in sodicity levels. Adverse effect on all growth parameters was noted onwards 30.00 ESP (exchangeable sodium percentage) in all the cvs 1 genotype. However, growth performance of 'Chakaiya', 'Narendra Aonla 7' and 'Narendra Aonla' 6 was quite satisfactory than that in 'Narendra Aonla lo', 'Narendra Aonla 18' and 'Anand 1 ' with respect to all growth parameters up to 30.00 ESP.
