Abstract

This paper deals with a critical study of onion (Allium cepa L.) export of India with a non-linear approach. The available data of onion export during different years is taken into consideration and different statistical models are fitted for that. The non-linear models, viz Logistic, Gompertz, Monomolecular, Morgan Mercer Flodin (MMF), Richards, Weibull and Quadratic models were applied for onion export of India and a comparative study was conducted for these models.
