Abstract

The feeds and fodders were good sources of macro-and micro-minerals with exception of paddy straw, mixed grass and other straws. But higher percentage of animals was found deficient in Ca, P and Cu. Though the mean serum level of Zn and Mn in cattle was observed to be higher than the critical level, still deficiency of these minerals was noticed in the serum of some of the cattle. Low level of serum protein and glucose was the indicative of the poor plane of nutrition.
