Mature leaves and twigs from 6 fodder trees and fruits/pods from 5 trees species were evaluated for their chemical composition and in sacco degradability. In tree leaves a positive correlation was observed among CP content and in sacco nutrient degradability while NDF, ADF, hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin content showed negative cOlTelation with nutrient digestibility. The tree leaves viz. Azadirachta indica, Anogeissus pelldula, Acacia catechu and pods of Acacia catechu were higher in nutritive values as compared to other species under study.
