A study was conducted to explore expression profiling of growth hormone receptor (GHR) gene at different time points during juvenile growth of PB-1 broiler chicken line. The growth hormone receptor gene was expressed in breast muscle. The highest expression was detected during second week and the lowest expression was found in fourth week of age. The expression of GHR was higher on first day than fourth and sixth week of age. The expression was relatively higher on sixth week than fourth week of age. The growth trend of birds was also explored at different ages during juvenile growth.
