Abstract

To enhance the quality of seed potatoes, a number of technical advancements have been or are now being examined and promoted. Many of them are rather ancient, but they have lately been reviewed and often modified for their use in certain contexts, especially when resources are limited. Some of these technologies deal with the fast multiplication of early-generation seeds as well as the
management of seeds on farms.
