Major diseases of kharif sown annual foddercrops and their management

Cultivated fodder crops are the primary source of energy for livestock to meet their daily requirements through forage, silage, and hay. During the kharif season, farmers primarily cultivate maize, sorghum, pearl millet, and cowpea as fodder crops, however, diseases often compromise their production and quality. In this article, important diseases of annual fodder crops and their management approaches are mentioned to minimise yield losses without compromising quality.
