Abstract
The achievements of rinderpest/ cattle plague eradication maymotivate all the stakeholders for a similar effort leading to PPR control and eradication in India and at global level. But, before becoming over enthusiastic one needs to keep in mind that “PPR is not Rinderpest and Goat and Sheep are not Cattle and Buffaloâ€.
