Abstract
The country was declared provisionally free from CBPP w.e.f.
October 2003. On May 26, 2007, OIE declared India free fromCBPP
infection.At present, as per OIE resolution number 17 (General
Session 82 of May 2014)India, Argentina, Australia, Botswana,
Canada, China, Portugal, Singapore, Switzerland and USA have CBPP freedom status.
