Abstract

Development of safe and sustainable vaccines for the control of
parasites has been the major thrust of contemporary research. The Indian Veterinary Research Institute has contributed significantly in finding immunological solution for many parasitic infections. It has developed vaccines against lung worm of sheep and bovine tropical theilerosis.
