Abstract

Integrated nutrient management through judicious use of inorganic
fertilizers along with green gram (moong) crop inclusion and
incorporation into the soil in between the wheat and rice crop has been proved to be the best practice for higher crop productivity and
sustainability of the rice-wheat cropping system under reclaimed
sodic soil. In addition, the improvement of soil fertility will be
ensured by long-term use of green gram in rice-wheat cropping system.
