Abstract
Green house gases like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, methane, etc. have the capacity to trap or absorb heat in sunlight and prevent it from escaping into the space. The presence of these gases in the atmosphere beyond certain limits is the main reason for the increase in global temperature. It has been estimated that the presence of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere during the pre-industrial period was 280 ppm, whereas, it has increased to 400 ppm now.Downloads
