Abstract
The crop protection chemicals used in Indian Agriculture has notonly helped to improve production and productivity but also
simultaneously showed its effects ever since its introduction. As agriculture is the most important rural enterprise, the ill effects of chemicals are so high on the farming community particularly on women as they aren’t aware much about the hazardous nature of chemicals often used in farming. Proper education cum training on the handling and usage of agrochemicals and more importantly emphasising about ecofriendly pest and disease management
by following biological control, IPM module and organic farming is the
need of hour to end agrochemicals dependence and to sustain future
with the remaining goodness of nature.
