Abstract
Flax seeds contain high levels of dietary fiber including lignans, an abundance of micronutrients and omega-3 fatty acids. Flax seeds may lower cholesterol levels, especially in women. Flax seeds intake in the diet may benefit individuals with certain types of breast and prostate cancers. Flax seed may also use in the severity of diabetes by stabilizing blood-sugar level. Additionally, flax seed is very low in carbohydrates, making it ideal for people who limit their intake of starches and sugars. And its combination of healthy fat and high fiber content make it great food for weight loss and maintenance.Downloads
