Abstract

The Dimbhe reservoir was a barren reservoir, with rocky bottom, difficult terrain having very low productivity. The major fishery was Chela sp, minor reservoir, fish seed was not available in the vicinity. For the Dimbhe reservoir development, Central Institute of Fisheries Education’s interventions started in the year 2006. Now, the net aquatic productivity of water is on the increase. Many farmess have had the chance to work on the cages and pens, and they have become well versed in the same.
