Abstract

Number of improved sugarcane production technologies, developed
under NARS and adopted by the farmers, would result in a substantial
increase in production and productivity levels. Though, yield levels have improved a lot over the years, dedicated research efforts are yet
needed to enhance the sugarcane yield growth and break the yield
barriers.
