Abstract

Commercially grown orchids are mostly epiphytes. Thus they require different growing conditions as compared to other normal flower plants. As a result of this, domesticating them as a potted plant is quite difficult. They require special management practices and special care. In this article we will discuss about the good agricultural practices for orchids that can make orchid cultivation as a potted plant easier and help the growers to overcome the difficu lties faced during growing orchids.
