Abstract

Bael is an important fruit crop for semi-arid region. It is hardy fruit crop but yet suffers by a few diseases, viz. fruit rot, gummosis, anthracnose, leaf spots and by pests like leaf miner, lemon butterfly and termites. It is also affected by physiological disorders like fruit cracking, fruit drop and sun scalding. For managing them, some simple management tactics that keep away the pests/pathogens and alleviate the non-parasitic disorders are recommended.
