Abstract

Though, traditionally consumed as tender fruit vegetable, new products like fruit juice, fruit powder capsules, jam and candies can be prepared to improve profitability of sweet gourd cultivation. Efforts must be taken to popularize this crop in eastern, north-eastern and
peninsular India.
